North Winn Gardeners and Dancers

Celebrating...

Mustang Gardens began with plantings in the fall of 2003 in honor of our friend and student Brady Stortz. Brady died in a four-wheeler accident during the summer before his third grade year. We started with a tree, a bench, and some flowers. All were purchased with donations from students, staff, and North Winn families.

We now have all of those (with a much larger Autumn Blaze Maple) plus a vegetable garden that provides food grown by students!

This year there was Stone Soup served at lunch:
including kale, chard, onions, carrots, beans, potatoes, popcorn, and squash from our gardens.
