Mr. Tim Dugger, Superintendent

Welcome to the North Winneshiek Community School web site. We are a small rural district of about 165 students located north of Decorah, Iowa. We serve the towns of Bluffton, Burr Oak, Highlandville, portions of Decorah, and portions of Hesper, Iowa. North Winneshiek has had a long tradition of strong academic programs that are student-centered. We have a low student:teacher ratio which helps with more individualized instruction. The district patrons and staff members take great pride in what North Winneshiek provides for its students.

I am excited to be serving North Winneshiek and believe every child has the potential to learn. If you have comments or questions, please contact me at school.

My door is always open. To provide feedback to the school please email me directly.
